TED Talks (Technology, Entertainment, Design) are talks and conferences designed to showcase “ideas worth spreading.” The TED Talks are amazing (and going on right now…) and I’m glad to share with you that New Jersey is getting our very own version!
TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. The save-the-date for TEDx NJ Libraries is Friday May 7, 2010 at the Princeton Public Library. The selected TEDxNJLibraries theme will be “Culture and Community” and is being sponsored by the Princeton Public Library as well as the New Jersey State Library, South Jersey Regional Library Cooperative and Central Jersey Regional Library Cooperative and the bloggers of Library Garden.
Be sure to follow their blog and their Twitter account to keep up to date with details for this groundbreaking event!
